If the Lakers get Held and Hayward, that would still be better than Westbrook and Hayward might be slightly better than Westbrook who never did respect the coach
Westbrook was obviously a poor fit, but he did put up 18/7/7 and shot near his career averages. The fit with Hayward should be better, but his injury history (including the current one) are concerns.

Not sure how they get Hield and Hayward unless you are suggesting a 3 team deal.

There was an interesting article today on when they started, Vogel said whoever rebounds the ball can bring it up. Westbrook refused go along with that and said, since he was the point guard , he wanted the ball every time. Westbrook is not just a bad fit..He is a cancer to every team he is on

Did you miss the end of the Kobe era? They were a disaster then too.

But yes, these times are always enjoyable
Yeah but that was short lived and they simply re-loaded. This appears to be a long term problem. Thanks to LeBron and his roster management. LOL

If they didn’t get Lebron they’d still be a mess imo.

Their best player would be Ingram, who has lead the pelicans…to the 9 seed.

...and the Knicks best player Randle, and likely Garland, etc.

hunter went 4th,

I'm really curious if the Lakers would've taken a similar offer to what NO did.

Yeah, not to mention Ball, Hart, Kuz and Caruso. Given how some of these guys have developed, they could have been a real solid team by now. They'd likely need to make a move or 2 to be contenders...but they'd have a real solid young team.

you weren't willing to pay the tax on caruso for Bron and Brow.

I doubt he's here when you have Ingram, Ball, randle. as your core. But maybe?

It would depend on what those players were making and/or if they were looking to add max level player.

I mean, most of them likely have similar contracts to now.
