The Rams also already having injury issues. If they lose to Zona, they could be looking at 0-3 and a deep hole to climb out of without some key players. AZ is not going to be an easy win for anybody this year. Defense is young and has a way to go but their offense is legit good.

The NFC has some weird mojo going right now. We will see what Philly does Monday but as of right now, the 4 unbeaten QBs in the conference are Derek Carr, Geno Smith, Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield. All castoffs.

Ravens 0-2 is a little shocking but then again i am no fan of Jackson as a QB. Strong arm? check. Strong legs? Check. Strong running? Check. Strong accuracy? meh! Strong QB mind? Not even close.

I get that but situational football! Do you not understand this? It was the Hawks FIRST DRIVE of the 2nd half. Points there are HUGE! I get them going for it but that was not fourth and half a yard it was closer to 2 full yards.

Again situational football dictates you take the points on your 2nd half OPENING drive. It's just the smart way to do it.

I think you are overstating the importance of 3 points.

If they went for the FG and missed it there would be people saying that they should have gone for it.

The opportunity to extend the drive and potentially take a 2 score lead was easily worth the risk.

Yeah, absolutely an amazing athlete but when he loses that ability, I can see a Cam Newton type of drop-off.

Overstating the importance of 3 points? WTF we won by 3 points! Every FG in a game is important, Every possession is important. The Hawks were up by 4 points so that fact and the fact it was the OPENING POSSESSION of the 2nd half means kick the FG go up by 7 with your first drive of the 2nd half. The call was dumb because of the distance on the play. That was 4th and 2 against a loaded front. Take the points.

I'm Cautiously Optimistic about Miami:

1) No Tua.

2) There a Speed team not a Power team like Pats. I think that suits us better

It would be remiss to not acknowledge Julian Love after 2 weeks. By all accounts, our best player on defense week 1 and today, they put him on Hunter Henry after the hot start Henry had and essentially shut that down the rest of the game. Then made the block on the kick to allow us to win. Got run over on one of those big runs but not going to knock him too much for that. He wasn't the only one.

3 out of the next 4 games for the Hawks are at home, Need to go 3-1 or at the very worst 2-2 in those games. That could be a huge boost going into week 7. 5-1 would be really nice but 4-2 is also a very good start.

Geno was such a stud out there today, constant drops, no run game, pass protection was sub par. Didn't matter just kept slinging it.

Yeah he really impressed me today.

The D on the other hand? Yikes. They made plays when they had to but they absolutely could not stop Stevenson or take down Brissett early on.

I'll take a W on the road at 10am any day though.

Yea their TE was killing us until they put Love on him. And then they played some solid bend but don’t break D in the 2nd half/ OT. Definitely have a lot of work left to do on run D though

33 plays isn't enough. Needs to be in that 45-50 range.

I doubt he is going to have many games where he will get 50 snaps.
