Unimpressive win against mostly backups and a shit QB. Clearly it's gonna take 2 solid drafts to get back on track.
Keeping Geno is spinning wheels to nowhere. I'd be shocked if they brought him back considering Geno wasn't a Mac pick.Geno ended the season on a high note thats for sure. Had his best game of the season.
Babs says he doesn't think Geno will be on the Hawks next season, just to many unforced errors over the course of the season.
They will bring him back. Welcome to your seattle marinerhawksKeeping Geno is spinning wheels to nowhere. I'd be shocked if they brought him back considering Geno wasn't a Mac pick.
I read that Macdonald has the most wins of any first year HC in franchise history. This team is so sloppy and undisciplined maybe he isnt up to running it
Depends on how much his agent wants for him and what he's willing to settle for. If the price is low enough they will keep him on another short-term unless they feel they have a decent replacement in the wings.Keeping Geno is spinning wheels to nowhere. Half the teams in the league have QB's you wouldn't want over Geno so you better have something in the works to let him go.
His age drops trade status, but if the price was right I'm sure quite a few teams would take him over what they have right now. Do YOU think he's the worst starting QB in the league? And if thats true then the flip side of that is Half the teams in the NFL would take Geno over their Starter? Then Trade him right? Who would trade for Geno? I don't think there is a team out there that would take Geno over their current QB or 2025 drafted QB. If there is you trade him for what ever you can get.
Geno was talking about " if im back" " i want to be here next year" This tells me that the players know whats going on and i think they must have had talks to Geno about "restructure or be released" ?
So if Geno was a free agent, no one would sign him to be their starter? And if thats true then the flip side of that is Half the teams in the NFL would take Geno over their Starter? What my point was is that if you want to move on from him you need to have a plan that improves you at that position. He's not top half of the league for sure, but you could fall to something even worse if you don't have your guy.Bottom 10 - 12 and 34 years old, not a QB you trade for. I have NEVER looked at yards as a stat to gauge a QB, i look at TD to INT ratio, How they read the defense, the ability to see the open guy and how many times they just make completely STUPID plays. There 100% are teams in a worse situation and i doubt ANY of them would want Geno as their starter. They would rather groom someone.
If the Hawks release him Geno WILL get picked up to be a back-up.

It's fine to take risks. It's not fine to close your eyes and throw a dart to pick your QBWell you can't be scared. Pete wasnt scared when he came in, they made like 250+ moves his first 2 seasons or something stupid like that. You flip over EVERY stone. compete compete compete compete. You continue to build the defense and compete your asses off.

Right. And what if there are no viable alternatives to Geno?No one said throw a dart only you did. You flip over every stone you can looking for a QB. You BUILD the defense and you COMPETE your ass off. The QB will come, it might be 2025 it might be 2026. We are not just a QB away especially if we dump Lockett and Metcalf and almost the whole Oline. lol.

And yet you can't even offer one suggestion. This is magic pony reasoningThats pigeonholing to fit your narrative there is ALWAYS an option be it FA or trade there is ALWAYS and option. stop with this BS trying to make it look like there is NO option, there is ALWAYS options it's just what are you willing to do.
Like i said cant be scared, and you sound VERY VERY VERY scared.

Start Howell, FA or draftStill need to find a replacement
