Well, looks like people are gonna get their wish of having Seattle lose this game.

I dunno what to feel about this game. I always stand firm that losing games purposely is not a good strategy.

That said, I wont be upset if Arizona wins and puts up like 450-500 yards and makes this bar none the worst Seattle D in Carroll's era (and maybe franchise all time). That's the only way we're going to get movement of Carroll and change this stupid ass soft zone system with Carroll immediately on the hot seat. IF Jody plans to keep the team and not sell (she might, no idea), Carroll should be immediately fired and an overhaul of the staff is needed.

If head coaches and Schneider KNOW that Allen is not selling, there are going to be coaches and staff FLOCKING to Seattle for a job... because Seattle has a ton of talent on the roster that Carroll simply doesn't know WTF to do with. I can't give Waldron TOO hard of a time given injuries to Geno, the OLINE just can't stay in, etc... but yah. If Jody is unsure about selling or is going to sell, we're sadly stuck with Carroll another year because a new owner is going to come in and immediately fire all of the FO/coaching staff.

Yep... before the game... on page 1. 470 yards so far by Arizona.

If Jody wont fire Carroll after this she's going to sell the team. If she is planning on keeping the team and not firing Carroll, she's incompetent.

We have a 1 of 3 scenario that maybe works. J. Allen immediately announces the firing of Carroll in the next few weeks and says she wants to keep the team. If the above (won't fire or sells) next season is 100% lost, which means most of all these high round picks were worthless.

They won't fire Pete. Our only hope is that he decides it's time to step away and retires. I even have doubts about that. It will be rinse and repeat and it's not about a fucking QB. It's about a defense that has been swiss cheese for 6 years and can't stop anyone and a bunch of deadwood players and Pete thinking he can somehow motivate a bunch of average players and turn them into good players.

Wonder what our draft pick would be if we win this vs lose this?

Here's where I have the problem. LACK of TALENT?

You've got 3 great receivers (1 a top 25 pick)
A top 10 LT
QB whatever..
Two 2nd round runningbacks.
A former 1st round TE.
Another TE that surprisingly was paid Travis Kelce almost cap room hit money last year.
Money spent on the rest of the OL.
A DT that we traded a 2nd round pick for.
A DE that we paid heavily.
A NT that had probably the best year in his career.
A HOF LBer
A 1st round ILB.
The highest paid safety group in the NFL.
A top 5 DB (that lived up to expectations).
Top 5 punter in the league.
One of the highest paid kickers in the league.

Where in the fuck is the lack of talent? The only major issue has been the coaching with an archaic stupid ass zone formula with zero creativity on offense. Soft zone, 2 down lineman for most of the year, runs constantly up the gut with no creativity, complete abandonment of tight ends... it's been absolutely ridiculous.
It’s time for a change …

I wonder if he'd leave for a GM job somewhere?

Well, looks like people are gonna get their wish of having Seattle lose this game.
Wish? I wish they had dumped the 3-4 last off season. I wish they had made the adjustments needed to have a competent run D. I wish they had worked enough on tackling to not have these issues all year.

I wish a lot of things that didn't come true. Wanting them to actually do something about it this off season isn't a bad thing.

It's better for Seattle is Arizona makes this. I know some of you might not get that now... but it 100% is.

Cards lost a lot of close ones this year... I like their coach... They will be much better next season imo...

Ugh.. dumbest end to the season...

This was the worst possible outcome. Get eliminated anyway, give up nearly 500 yards to Arizona, and then Seattle wins.

I don't think I can even get excited about the draft next year if Carroll isn't fired in < 1 month.

Losing this one game would not have created a situation where they do or do not ditch the 3-4.
