You cannot understand and watch Manziel play and think he has a decent arm any more than you could have with Tim Tebow a couple years back. It is very visibly very bad.

There is an inordinate amount of very's in this post. At least the last sentence. :)

It is not possible to succeed at QB in the NFL with an arm as bad as Manziel's. It never will be.

So yes, he is 100% guaranteed to be a joke.

Okay, well Fran Tarkenton played quarterback in the NFL for 17 years and says the opposite so...we'll see.

Fran tarkenton played in a different era and was still a far better passer than Manziel could even dream of.

Despite era the name of the game has always been win. Fran Tarkenton believes Johnny Manziel can be a winner in the NFL and that's all that matters to me.

It wasn't a passing league back then. You didn't need the same skill throwing a football. No one with as bad an arm as Manziel will ever be a even remotely successful QB again. Never. It is not possible.

Manziel's arm is not half as bad as what you're making it out to be. For 3rd time, you don't know anything...nor do you have a crystal ball so please, save it.

I actually wonder if I'm talking to Bucky Brooks here...

I don't need a crystal ball. It is not possible for a passer as bad as Manziel to succeed in the NFL. He is outright guaranteed not to be in the league in 5 years.

He hasn't taken a single snap in the NFL. You don't know shit. STFU already with your worthless guarantees.

He never should. He doesn't have the physical ability to be worth a roster spot, let alone a top 10 pick...

The GM that drafts him will be fired within a couple years as well.

You will be proven very, very wrong. Manziel may not be the next Montana but he'll make some shit happen and win some games in the NFL.

Your opinion will be a humongous joke once Manizel wins his first game in the NFL.

I'll make sure you're reminded.

He may very well be put on a team that puts together a decent streak despite him. Hell, Tebow did.

But he will not be on a roster in 5 years. Guaranteed beyond any doubt whatsoever.

He will never give up his nonsense TNT. I even offered up a bet to him and he wouldn't take it. Just proves he doesn't really stand by his convictions.

I wouldn't call it nonsense... A bit extreme, but doesn't make it any less true. Manziel won't be a starting QB after a few seasons. It's a guarantee that someone (Cleveland) will waste at least 2 seasons on him before figuring out that he isn't an NFL caliber QB. Unless he gets injured, then someone will drag him out one more season. It would be smart to not make him a starter day 1, cuz that would at least give him a better chance at making an impact later on down the road.

I've been wrong about a prospect before, but from what I see out of Manziel is nothing great.

If your team needs a QB, then Manziel is certainly an attractable pick. But the question is where in the draft. I am not sure if he's better than Bortles or Bridgewater.

Not even close to being better than either of those 2... IMO Manziel belongs AT MOST in the 2nd round. As for "attractable"... I would rather spend a pick on a trade for Cousins if I was that desperate for a QB.

By all accounts, Derek Carr is the all-around best QB prospect in this draft pool but because his relationship to David Carr and the fact he played at Fresno leaves him zero media hype and of course all we go by is media hype. In reality we have no idea what each team is thinking, how high they have a guy ranked, and come draft day, we'll all be surprised when teams pull triggers we were unaware the finger was on.

Who knew Ponder and EJ Manual would be top 10 picks when they went?

We all know Johnny Football is a big project at the NFL level and his future is uncertain but it bothers the shit out of me when clowns like JDM roll up with their guarantees...like he knows shit the rest of us don't. It honestly wouldn't surprise me to see Minnesota or Cleveland reach for Manziel because he's some kind of real life Willy Beaman they plan to sell tickets around. It also wouldn't surprise me to see Johnny Manziel fall flat out of the first round because teams see more guaranteed value in other position players and aren't willing to gamble.

But remember when Tebow was "no way in hell" a 1st round pick? How about when Aaron Rodgers plummeted to the end of the 1st round? "Pac 10 quarterbacks always fail in the NFL!" How about Brady Quinn, the quarterback who was "pro ready" and a "high football IQ!"

It's fun to speculate but we don't know shit.
