We are very fortunate we play in the AL West. We would have nowhere near that record if we were in one of the other divisions...unfortunately this is becoming pretty clear that while we may be good enough to compete in our division, we will struggle at crunch time against the Tigers, Red Sox, rays, etc...my opinion, and it's not worth much...

We are very fortunate we play in the AL West. We would have nowhere near that record if we were in one of the other divisions...unfortunately this is becoming pretty clear that while we may be good enough to compete in our division, we will struggle at crunch time against the Tigers, Red Sox, rays, etc...my opinion, and it's not worth much...

Fortunate or not I don't know and it probably doesn't matter. Regardless of playing in the AL West or not I believe they're a good team regardless. But hey that is my opinion and it sure isn't worth anything either.

And now we go to the frustration of Seattle where Seager and gang will have season high games again against us but they lose to the Angels. We need to take 2/3 from the M's but when was the last time we did that?

We needed the A's to lose, I thought that was probably going to be the case today, and they did.

Well the good news is the O's are making sure we don't lose any ground.

Still plenty of baseball to be played. I'm hopeful Texas and extend the ground or at least maintain this type of lead by the time they face Oakland again but I am thinking the division will be won based on what happens head to head with the remain 6-7 games.

That they are, but they have one glaring weakness and that is we cannot get that clutch hit, and we cannot sustain an inning. The pitching and defense, and quickness for that matter are there, but god this awful hitting with RISP....and Cruz has nothing to do with it. We were just as crappy at it with him in the lineup...

Rangers won the season series against the Tigers, Red Sox and lead against the Rays. We also took the season series from the Yankees. The O's and Toronto tore us up this year.
