Could be ok. I was thinking they want to give him as much time to get his timing down so he will be 100% ready for the division run. Guessing.I wonder if the rush to play Jung is so they can know about just how well he is physically, before the deadline. If he can put their minds at ease this weekend, it might mean one less trade they have to make.
The Diamondbacks gave up their #14 and #30 prospects. The Diamondbacks strike first. They have traded for AJ Puk from the Marlins.
He is playing for Frisco tomorrow to be clear. The initial report was wrongI wonder if the rush to play Jung is so they can know about just how well he is physically, before the deadline. If he can put their minds at ease this weekend, it might mean one less trade they have to make.
He is better than any current bench player we have. Offensively and defensively.Duran has now hit a HR 3 days in a row.
Seattle's #12 and #22 prospects go to the Rays. From Jeff Passan:
Full trade, per ESPN sources:
Seattle Mariners receive: outfielder Randy Arozarena
Tampa Bay Rays receive: outfielder Aidan Smith, right-hander Brody Hopkins and a player to be named last.
We swept the Sox and that is great but take a closer look. Other than one game, we could easily lost three games. We should have taken those with ease.I do not believe this offense is where they should be. Imo, we will not fair as well with good teams until runs increase. Look back over the last few games at number of runs produced. This will not get us where we want to go until our offense starts to produce.
That's very possible. Was thinking the same thing.I wonder if the rush to play Jung is so they can know about just how well he is physically, before the deadline. If he can put their minds at ease this weekend, it might mean one less trade they have to make.
He has had a down year so far. From Jeff Passan:

you may be correct, or they are concerned about doing more harm with the stress-fracture in his back and want to proceed slowly with him until they are sure that winding him up won't do any further harm because he will be an integral part of the rotation next seasonYou mean like Scherzer and Eovaldi did and like Mahle and deGrom will have to. His stretching out is no different than theirs. The main difference is he pitched better than those guys did, and oh, he also has a lot less seniority.

The sane could have been said for all of the pitchers who have come back, or who are coming back, from injury.you may be correct, or they are concerned about doing more harm with the stress-fracture in his back and want to proceed slowly with him until they are sure that winding him up won't do any further harm because he will be an integral part of the rotation next season
