Great series to start the year.

We got a couple of guys banged up, but nothing major. Overall, the pen did great and three of our starters were fantastic. The offense did well, overall.

Adolis helped us win this series.
Love Wyatt going oppo
Leiter did well

If Walcott starts off hot, i wonder if at some point soon we will see him take Ornelas' spot on the 40-man.
I almost think he is a better fit to replace Seager if he goes down
Smith is needed to float around
He will get his ABs

Man I hope Seeger doesn’t go down for any length of time. He is our best player

He rarely starts more than 130 games. I just hope we have him for that much. Hopefully, we will.

Rom Jamey Newberg:

Evan Carter did not play in Round Rock's Game 3 today. Adrian Houser was sharp (5.0-1-1-1-1-5, solo homer, 6 GO/2 FO).

A note from Jamey Newberg:

  • Eli Ben-Porat (Baseball America) picks a roster made up of prospects who fit the following criteria: (1) is not on any of the Top 100 Prospects lists published by Baseball America, MLB Pipeline, FanGraphs, ESPN, The Athletic, or Baseball Prospectus; and (2) is a “high-probability MLB player who will ideally start in either the majors or Triple-A.” On his roster are RF Alejandro Osuna and 1B Blaine Crim (as well as two former Rangers, UIF Luisangel Acuna [Mets] and RHP Zak Kent [Guardians]).

never want to see Ornelas again
Then I guess we have to keep our guys healthy or wait on someone else to develop
I surely don’t want Walcott to be a utility guy on our team.
When he comes up I hope he is a starter

Who else on our system csm play SS and a multitude of positions that’s not already up here?

Good series, we'll see how the teams look in a month and a half. Not a lot of positives to deduct from that series for us other than Abreu, Campbell (man I'm excited to see what he can do this year), and the bullpen also looked fine.

Cam Cauley would be the next guy up, I guess.

In this particular situation Walcott could have played 3B, had he been ready. Then when Smith could play you just send Walcott back down and bring up a backup for the bench.

That couldn't have happened this time, but maybe in the not too distant future.
