Can't say he will or won't, but the ceiling is in the Johan Santana range for me.

Man, I'd love it! Santana - before he got hurt - was a stud among the studs!

And ya know, I guess we all have short memories. But remember, Matt Harrison was a terrific pitcher for us the past 2 seasons. There's no reason to think he won't come back 100% for next season. IMO, great move by the Rangers to shut him down for the short run!

Not in Oklahoma. Apparently they think we give a shit about puig mania.

For whatever it's worth, in Puig's first 69 games in the bigs, his numbers smokes Mike Trout! In case you were wondering. hahahaha

I'll still take Trout for his defense and team player.

Puig's numbers aren't really sustainable with his lack of walks and unsustainably high babip.

I think Lee's wife had more than a little to do with him leaving. He like it here, and liked Phil too. But his wife loved Philly and didn't like it here at all! They have a child with "special needs" and I believe they enjoyed the hospital there as well.

It seems like almost to a man, when we get someone from the outside, they damn near marvel at what a great clubhouse we've got.

No doubt, even the guys who leave for more money or a better situation for their family regret leaving the Rangers clubhouse. Even Hamilton, who came across as very bitter, there's no doubt in my mind that in his heart he wanted to stay

That's pretty bold. Me thinks you undervalue holland.

To be honest I still get jitters when Holland is pitching, always wondering which Dutch turned up, a true ace should not conjure up such fears.

Trout had one OF putout, and Puig had 7.

That's all you're going to base defense on? You make it too easy to refute your claims when you focus on one stat

And everything else, Trout smokes Puig's numbers across the board in both their first years

Defensive numbers, Baserunning big advantage Trout weak arm or not

and hitting is fairly comparable though

I'd say the problem is more in your head than with Holland then. The numbers say you're wrong.
