You'd think with all the guys the Seahawks have tried on the line over the years that they could find one person who can block someone.

These two teams are destined to routinely have refs botch the outcome.
Good Points, D woulda been even better if they hadn't been out there for 3 qtrs.
.
Well this was disappointing given the effort on defense. Feels like Pete has a bit of disconnect with reality. Packers play the run strong, but have a weak secondary, yet Pete went with his power run game. Seahawks don't have the personal for that. Given the domination of the Packers DL over the Seahawks OL it would have taken some scheming to allow RW time to throw. Planned roll outs, extra blockers, and so on. However if they could give RW time, feel he could of craved up the Packers.
Seahawks will recover from this lost. Really no shame in losing to the Packers on their home field. The real downside is this game might mean the Seahawks will have to play there in the playoffs.
On to the next game.
i know people will say "Well its week 1 and its green bay"...
however, this OL is possibly the worst one we have seen yet, BOTH guards getting blown up routinely.
should have traded for joe thomas, NOT sheldon richardson. at least then MAYBE we have one side thats serviceable.
and jimmy graham? a glorified lineman making $10m a year. if this team hadnt lucked out drafting wilson the entire coaching staff would have been canned by now.
defense is great, but this team isnt winning a championship with a defense that spends 45 minutes of game time on the field on a regular basis.

I know ...right!Except, Joe Thomas wasn't available. Why let facts get in the way of fantasy though, amirite?
I put this lose squarely on the o-line today. Yes the refs sucked as usual but Seattle's o-line was down right dog shit. These guys should take a train and be left in the middle of Idaho cause that was some piss poor play. The defense played out of their minds holding AR and company to 17 pts in their house which is tough to do and if the o-line played sub average, maybe we would be talking victory. Oh well, on to week 2.
Trying to run against a D that excels at stopping the run, but has a weak secondary wasn't a good tactical move. However I bet Pete feels that continue work at running the ball will play off. Guess we'll see.
why blame carroll? its bevell that runs the offense and calls the plays.
