A little of both, there’s a couple of factor secondary guys that are out and Walker leaving the game didn’t help today.

For a long time it was game plan, Dom Capers lived for running Prevent with a lead almost exclusively and then we had Pettine who was better but our run defense was especially horrible under him and it was more of the same with Joe Barry.

They have pretty good talent on defense but when a team is shaped around a QB for so many years the defense is liable to struggle.

Seattle has to win out. Loss here puts the Rams back in first.
Howell should get 1st team reps this week so hopefully he'll look better next week against the Vikes.
