Seattle Seahawks @ Carolina Panthers

I think the seahawks are just a better team in the 2nd half. Last year it seemed like they were always stale in the 1st half and then brought it on after the break. I see that happening today as well.

Steve Smith's a punk and always has been.

Also has something to do with the fact that he has only caught one pass on Sherman's side of the field, and it was because the linebacker didn't cover his zone. He's probably tired of getting pushed around by Sherman out there and acts like he just won the lotto whenever he gets to go up against Maxwell or Thurmond.

Seattle looks lethargic the head and 10am start time might be affecting them.

Not that lame excuse. Everyone's playing like crap and Wilson's fallen in love with his scrambling ability. If this is what they have to offer then this team isn't doing anything.

Not making excuses here but I feel like the Panthers are a real sleeper this year.

I still expect us to come back and win but I had a feeling this game would be closer than people thought.

I told y'all we would have a lackluster first half and would be down. We always seem to play from behind, we did all last year. Both post season games. God forbid the vs. Rams week 17. Lets make our second half adjustments and Go HAWKS

And his legs. I say that because Seattle's receivers have not been getting open and their best chance is when Wilson buys more time scrambling.

Seahawks have only ran the option once so far (at least as far as I could tell, and it could have been a designed run in the first place but looked like the option)

I don't think that's the sole reason they are struggling but it does play a factor and if they lose that shouldn't be their reason.

Great throw by Wilson. This is what I wanted to see more of was play action under center.

People bag on Rice but we need a receiver that can make those catches. There was a lot of mustard on that throw and he had to go up to get it. Not an easy catch to make.

I agree, Super Bowl winners aren't just teams who don't have tough games, but teams that overcome tough games. People are acting like the Panthers were a 2-14 team last year, they were 7-9 and one of the best teams the second half of the season. This was a top 10 D last year, they aren't just some push overs.
