Tell you another thing I'm getting sick and tired of...we are getting out HR'ed in our own park... Game in and game out, the opposition out HR's us at home. I have no stats on this, but it just feels that our opponents are far ahead of us here....

They're not a HR hitting team anymore like they used to be. I don't care about the HR's as long as they're able to get timely runs. The 8th was a situation they should have tied the game. I've been saying this all season that this is what the offense is going to be like the whole season. There will be plenty of nights where it will be a challenge scoring.

No Murphy. No AJP. And no Berkman. Those moves alone get 2014 off to a better start.

I can not believe that AJP bats 5th for ANY team in baseball. He stinks, especially when a clutch hit is needed. Man we must have been desperate in the offseason to sign that retread.

Other than putting Rios in the 5 spot I don't see there's a clear cut person you can put in that spot in this offense.
