Baker is playing well but calling the Bucs a bad team is selling them pretty short. Other than the lack of a run game, their roster still has a lot of the key pieces in their SB run with Brady. Not going to bother with the Geno talk. It's pointless with you. Everybody admits Geno is not the answer here but you rave on anyway just to yell at the sky. Didn't you say you were a psychologist? So that's 4. Even if you wanna discount the first 2 that footballreference counts as GWDs, he still solidly has 2 in his career.

Smith has 17 TD's and 9 INT a 90 RTG and 57.9 QBR this year.
When you look at their entire careers Geno still edges him out and has a much better TD/INT ratio. Lock kills games with reckless INTS over his career. It's why he was a footnote part of the Wilson deal.

They are both very mid.

The idea that Lock gives you a much better chance to win ignores both of their careers. It's just not based in reality.

This team needs to find a top flight QB. So does at least 20 other teams in the league.

Yet they would still be a SB worthy team if they had a defense anywhere near as good as their 2013-2015 or so without making a single other change on offense.

He convinced himself that Geno needed to go before the season and is blinded by it. He only sees the good plays by Lock and the bad plays by Geno.

As you say, both QBs are mid and will never be more than that. It would be great if we could find a franchise QB but that isn't likely to happen anytime soon.

Mayfield kind of works if you have a strong running game. He would not work in this system passing 25+ times against Niners defense and a Rams team that seems to have our number. Whether it's Mayfield, Lock or Geno we need an upgrade.

Passing 25-35 times a game only happens if you have a good running game. Most.teams get 60 offensive plays a game. Geno needs to be limited to 25 to 30 passes a game also. If he throws 37 times in the steelers game we lose.
