He's been very successful, so he is doing something right. He's a players manager, they love him. It's frustrating for us because he sticks with players who are struggling high in the order (Murpth, Andrus) to try and keep their confidence up but we see it as bad strategy, he see's it as keeping the moral up. No doubt he does questionable things, but bottom line, the players will always give him 100%. Can't argue with his record either, and you can give me "he has talent all around him" excuse but look at Matingly and the Dodgers.

Not a lot of OF talent in AAA, so he's not really stealing ABs from anyone at this point

Yea, that could have also had something to do with Holland walking runners in, or Feliz quitting, or Lowe being terrible. I am not going to rattle the hive anymore lol it's obvious I am the minority.
