That Pats are not interested. A reporter called BB last night and he flat out said the Pats aren’t interested. Though I guess it could be smoke and mirrors.
I’ve just been told the Pats were one of the teams to call. Doesn’t mean anything much happened from that phone call.

If they call and Cleveland says yeah, we'll trade him but the asking price is too high...then bingo...Pats not interested.

Well sounding like he will be a Patriot.

So maybe the price is not too high...???

Or maybe the too high bar was changed after yesterday???

He has the talent, can Bill keep him inline though?

have to see what the final contract looks like but my guess is this is a good deal for the Pats and an opportunity for Gordon to get his life back on track. He is absolutely talented just have to see if with maybe his final chance he takes advantage of it.

Looks like it is a conditional 5th round pick. If he doesn't play 10 games this season the Pats get back a late round pick.

Why trade for Josh Gordon when you could have Bennie Fowler? ;)

That is a SMOKING HOT deal!!!

Low risk with really high reward for sure. Just not sure what to expect from Gordon. Hasn't shown any ability to control his habits. Lots of rumors he showed up this weekend high as a kite so have to see if he can even pass a drug test in the next few days.

I'm pretty sure that Belichek saw those reports and would have asked about it, I also doubt that the Browns would outright lie about it. My guess is that doing anything like that would have a serious league penalty and would pretty end the Browns' chances of ever making a trade as long as any one was alive that could remember.

Yep. Either what I read was bullshit or BB wanted to make other teams believe they weren't interested.

Now let's see how long it is until he gets cut.

BB won't pay anyone. He's always looking for someone he can bring in at the minimum and look like he's a genius. I can't drink that red, white and blue Kool-Aid any more.

From my cheap seats, I don't think half of this team is drinking it either.

I have always been for players getting paid. Especially football players. I hate the multi-use franchise take. Once is enough. I never get pissed when a player leaves a team for more money. The NFL can be a very short career. Fans can be stupid and expect loyalty. :finger: them.

Speaking of always bring in cheap peeps.....where the hell is the money spent on this team? There are no elite guys. Brady and Gronk aren't breaking the bank. Gilmore?

Josh ges 2-2 against Miami for 32 yards
Edelman back in business.

Last time the Colts beat the Patriots, Peyton was the QB.
Colts are 29th against the run. We will use the run to set up a big passing day!
