Expect to see BB start making some more moves. He doesn't have to worry about losing any compensatory picks next year.

CBS predicts that BB will sign former Chargers DT Corey Luiget.

The Patriots may have lost a few players but this roster looks really good. Trying to pare this group down to a 53 man roster will be tough. That is, if you're a close Patriots follower.

Belichick said that this year's defense would be much better than last years. With BB taking over as the DC, this group could be one of the best ever. I don't know about the rest of you but I'm really excited about thosPatriots team. This roster is stacked!!!

If other teams can't score and the running game becomes death by several cuts then Brady can be the game manager everyone has always wanted him to be... ;)

Michel and Burkhead were a formidible1-2 punch in the playoffs. Add Harris and now they have a real 1-2-3 punch that will be able to wear down defensive lines. They will be able to pound the ball and then Brady can use the play action to his advantage. Brady will have some guys who can get downfield outside the hash marks. This offense will have very little problem scoring 35 points a game.

This defense will be brutal to move or score against. Right now, on paper, they don't appear to be a defense that will allow more than 17 points a game.

I disagree I think it's a 1-2-3-4 punch White from my understanding was tweeked at the end of the year but what he brings to the table is pretty damn impressive. If you make me make a decision what back to cut I'm all about bye bye Burkhead.

Totally agree except for the fact that at least a small handful of top notch players are going to end up on IR for the season and the Pats will have to dog fight it to the end like usual.

Super exciting team on paper right now but I'm holding my optimism in check.

Put me in the excited club.
I'm more excited this off season than I've been in years.

Basically looking at 2 draft classes of players getting their shot. All the FA acquisitions though most at the twilight of their career have me on the edge of my seat.

You are correct. I just never include White and he had the biggest rushing impact on 3rd downs in the playoffs.

I'd keep Burkhead and cut Bolden.

This may be the year NE finally gets rid of Bolden once and for all:hope: but I doubt it.
Can't stash any of these guys on the PS so if everyone stays healthy I could see NE trading Burkhead to someone for a 6th.

Lots of talent going to get cut this year.

Yeah maybe, but Bolden is a great ST guy

You can only keep so many designated ST players. I'm not sure how BB continues to get away with it:scratch:. As I mentioned earlier lots of talented players are going to get cut. I'd rather see one of them make the squad who may actually see the field beside ST and garbage time.

The Patriots officially announce the signing of LB Jamie Collins. To make room on the 90-man roster, the club announced that DT Frank Herron was waived. Herron, of LSU, spent time on the practice squad last season.

Just another ST player. How does BB do it?

The Patriots and core special teams player Brandon King have agreed to a 2-year extension, a source confirms. The extension gets tacked on to this year, so King is now signed through 2021. The extension adds $3.5 million to the pact, while also giving King a chance to earn more in 2019 than just his $925,000 base salary.

Boston Media is already starting to pick the keepers. This guy is looney tunes. He thinks the team will keep 6 RBs and only 4 WRs. Simple question....has he ever heard of the 5 WR Set? He thinks they'll be keeping 3TEs.
He's also predicting that BB will keep an UDFAfor the 5th straight year. He must be looking for clicks.

Patriots 53-man roster projection: Pats make surprise cuts, extend undrafted rookie streak in 2019

I am very convinced we'll keep a UDFA again this year. Might be a WR. We will not be going with 4 WR's
