I was trying to figure out why you cared for the Pens... I'm guessing for the first rounder this year? Best case scenario would be Pens making the playoffs and then getting bounced in the first round?

It's two-fold, to be honest - Yes, the Pens making the playoffs and the Leafs getting that first rounder is important, and yes a first round exit after qualifying in 8th will be the best outcome, but I also think a Pens-Caps series would be fun to see again.

Proof the Chicago Blackhawks are bad for your health. Went to the Sucks/Wings games Wednesday night (my first loss I witnessed live ) and went to the casino afterwards, and got violently ill while I was there. Been sick at home ever since. Never got sick like that seeing any other team...

On the plus side, I was in the same building as Eddie Olczyk and I didn't wind up in jail, so, silver linings I suppose...

Based on what I heard from Kypreos and the HNIC panel, I don't think there will be any suspension. Those guys were putting the blame on Miller for putting himself in a vulnerable position.

I gotta say I am proud of the Jackets. After a shocking win against a team they are fighting with for that coveted top spot, they came back, knuckled down and put in the performance they needed to get their post-postseason hopes back on track.

Hockey SportsHoopla is kind of amusing with this many people rooting for their teams to lose to get good draft picks. I don't think this many teams represented prominently on the Hoop have had rough seasons in a single year as this one.
