Hartnett: Fleury Went Against Goalie Fraternity By Calling Out Lundqvist

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, oh New York. You never change. So, the "classless, prima donna" team is the one who said that tossing a net off the moorings with a rush coming was immature...but not the team that actually did it. Maybe get over yourself and realize perhaps the guy in goal is the whiner you think Crosby is. The "thinking a different rulebook applies" thing is also golden when you watch Marc Staal's continued attempts to remove Crosby's head from his body.

"Fleury can learn a thing or two from Lundqvist’s classy example."

Honestly I can't think of an example where MAF has been classless. Maybe a push or two in a scrum, gotten a bit heated, but I don't even recall him smashing his stick on a goal. Maybe I'm having selective memory, but holy molasses.

I think the Rangers and their fans are just upset because they allowed the wrong goalie to be signed by the Oilers.

I didn't know it was Fleury's job to pump Lundqvist's ego.

It's very weird that there's an expectation that simply because he's a goalie he shouldn't be called out. And MAF was asked specifically about it, it's not like the guy walked in and said "what a chode, ammiright?!" But same position, why would I be honest?! Even disregarding MAFs comments, NY fans should just learn to accept that Hank's a prima donna. It's easier that way. Sid gives the ref his opinion every chance he can, I really don't care. He's good. So's Hank. Hank is also a baby.

So 1 article sums up the entire fan base?

You better hide behind that couch, @dash !! I loved Prince Talbot, but never thought he had it in him to be a consistent starter in this league. Well, not without a stellar defense in front of him. Like he had last year. Now, that same defense on the Rangers, is not that stellar. They have regressed big time.

Interesting, not the behavior you'd expect from Lundqvist.

Pretty great night for the Leafs - lost a game where they easily could've won (and once again outpossessed a playoff contender), the Pens put some good space between themselves and the Flyers, and I got ice cream.

I was trying to figure out why you cared for the Pens... I'm guessing for the first rounder this year? Best case scenario would be Pens making the playoffs and then getting bounced in the first round?
