Highest scoring offenses are a different story in playoffs and especially SB. Pats had the #1 scoring offense in NFL history in 07 and only scored 14 points vs Giants and Denver had the#1 scoring offense in history 3 years ago and only scored 8 points vs Seattle. And they had arguably the 2 best QB's in this generation, Ryan needs to prove himself in playoffs. Ryan has my vote for MVP because of his stats . He only throws the ball 33 times a game but has 38 tds. 7 int 2nd most yards, best rating and over 9 yards a throw
There are no defenses in the league this year remotely close to Seattle in 13 and not even any pass rush D's on the level of the 07 Giants. Dallas is the top ranked D in the NFC playoffs and they're 27th against the pass. Generally I prefer D to O but only if you're discussing elite D and elite O. There are no elite defenses this year in the entire league and it's worse in thr NFC

I admit Dak was a pleasant surprise but the Patriots were 3-1 before Brady came back as starting QB.

Sure they won a fluke game when the mighty AZ team missed a FG at end and got shutout at home to the Bills. The QB's threw 4 tds in the 4 games Brady gives them 8 points a game more , they are 7-0 without their best weapon Gronk and Brady hasn't thrown a pick on the road since last year, another record 300 passes and is undefeated on the road. You can't lose games by a lot to inferior teams sorry. Brady is 11-1 with the only loss coming vs Seattle when they couldn't punch it in on first and goal on the 1 , kudos to Seattle.

The Pats are still a good team without Brady.

Sure they are, maybe playoffs but most likely 1 and done. Atl has a lot of good players and so does GB, Coaching obviously is better in NE

BB is worth 2 games by himself imo. I'm happy with Quinn so far. Seems really aggressive for a defensive minded guy

He sure is except for last year, I could put 3 losses on him and HFA. He must have had some meltdown, because its not like him. Only other time was the game vs the Colts and they were up late in game and he goes for it on 4th and 2 on like their 30 yard line, punt the ball man. Yes Quinn has been solid for a new HC, reminds me of jack Del Rio, both aggressive

No question that Belichick is a premier head coach but so is McCarthy.

Quinn looks like an up and coming head coach.

I vote for Tom Brady. He has the same amount of wins as Matt Ryan and one more than Aaron Rodgers and played in 4 less games. He plays on the team with the best record. He set the TD to INT ratio record and he did it at 39 years old. My last point.... I think the people who will actually be voting realize Brady missed 4 games due to a made up scandal. I think Brady wins.

Depends on who they play. There are many backup QB's in the AFC postseason now.

I have to admit that I'm a bit shocked at all the votes for Rodgers. Leads me to believe that some folks are voting on reputation alone because every other guy on the list is more deserving of the award this year than he is.

I had contemplated no putting him in the poll, but instead decided to use his name like fly paper :dhd:

10-6 record, sucked for half the year and gets votes for MVP :L

This year's MVP should be awarded to the non-nascent star, again: Tom Brady. New England would have many stolid personalities, in the organization, if it wasn't for the talent, of whom produced--from pseudo-pentode deliveries--generated--nearly--30 TD's and only 2 INT's, this season. Home-field advantage, throughout.... Only two teams weren't given a bid adieu from the Patriots, because--largely--of Tom Brady. Mistakes aren't made by Tom Brady, often. Sorry for omitting Tom's passing %, along with other statistics, which are important. We must assume those numbers are impressive; as usual. It's unfortunate that we type about this germane question, and there's not a consensus result, with our selection, about this subject.

Pardon my aureating, but I'm in the process of making my vocabulary, broader--this endeavor is infinite.

Tom Brady should be the 2016/2017 NFL MVP.
