I'm not a Collinsworth or Whitten fan but I'm a little surprised they are hated that much worse than Gruden. Gruden was fucking horrible on the air. Not surprised that the Miller/ Kornheiser experiment along with Booger is running away with this poll though.

If Brady is on the air and has long stretches of silence (dead air as you put it)... then GOOD. That's another thing he's GOAT at. Knowing when to STFU.. something that NFL announcers and women don't know how to do.

Yah I didn't hear him speak (usually watch most games muted outside of Seattle), didn't even know he was in the booth, so dunno.

Either way I prefer the Manning brothers. Both just stare at the screen like they don't know what the fuck is going on with those derpy 'HUH?" expressions and make obvious comments. That's where I'm at with my level of commentary required.

It's not as easy of a gig as people think it is and it never helps when the game is so one sided. Hard to find talking points in a blow-out. TB will maybe get his legs under him but it takes some time.

Gruden and Romo were amusing to start but quickly got old. Dennis Miller was kind of great, in the sense that they really tried something different.

He may not have actually been the worst announcer. But Fuck Millen. If there's an option to vote for him as the worst anything I'll always punch that ticket.

I had checked Millen without a thought, then realized I don't think I ever heard him as an announcer. He hurt us all so deeply....

The WSJ had a pretty good Brady review, saying he was pretty mediocre the first time out, but also noting that Brady is known for being uber competitive and will surely get better once he reads the negative reviews. He'll study the film.

Keith Olbermann is hands down the worst. He wasn't ever an announcer for NFL games yet he has 3 votes. That also makes him the worst airline pilot, the worst barista, the worst hotel clerk, the worst parking lot valet....
