The game is all about the QB. Washington and Cincinatti showed what that can do for a sorry team. If I had the 3rd pick I'd do everything I could to trade it for next years first and other picks. Then go into next year's much stronger QB draft with a high 1st and another 1st to work with along with the additional picks. I would not go crazy in FA that first year but I would look at OL in free agency to give your young QB a fighting chance.

Lets say you just bought an NFL team that hasn't been relevant since the early 2000's.
The town that you purchased this team in is so desperate for a winner that you have two serious options:
Cap space of $90 million, and the 3rd pick in each round of that years draft with 8 picks total. ( two picks in the 4th round)
Offense was 22nd last year, passing was ranked 24th with a QB over 33 years of age and and oline that averages the age of 31 years old.
Defense was ranked 25th with a passing ranking of 30th in the league.

Two options listed in the poll, tell us your option and tell us how you would turn the team around?

Well, the first thing I do is find out what the current GM is thinking about for the immediate and short term future. It's pretty obvious that this in not a good situation and what is his plan. If it's not in line with what I'm thinking, IE I want to be competitive in the next 2-3 years and believe that draft and develop is the key, with dabbling in the mid to low range of free agency to get me there. If he's not in that mindset he goes away and I get actual football people to run the organization.

Since it's kind of obvious that this team needs players, if there isn't a potential franchise QB that would be available at 3, I would like to trade out and get more picks. Build an actual team and not splashy headlines.
