Never seen a guy win MVP with only 12 games under his belt...
It's not really about who deserves it ultimately. The media is going to vote so they're going to either vote for the best story ( Brady sticking it to the commissioner or Rodgers coming through on his "run the table" comment ) or they're going to vote for who had the best year ( Ryan ). I've got my money on Brady because of the multiple layers to that story. Maybe I'm wrong but usually people do what's best for them and Brady winning is best for the media

WTF you talking about? Did I say Elliott was horrible? Point is, he didn't have a better year than D. Johnson... If D. Johnson isn't an option, nor should Elliott...
it's called the most valuable player, not the best stats

buy a clue for $100

You can keep calling the defenses Atlanta has played bad but it's just not true. Number 1 ranked defensive schedule this year. And if you think Ryan is throwing check downs you clearly haven't watched Atlanta this year. They throw it down field more than any team in the league by a massive margin. Any way keep fighting the good fight but don't make stuff up

"They throw it down field more than any team in the league by a massive margin"

Matt Ryan thrown 167 passes of 11+ yards
Rodgers has thrown 185 passes of 11+ yards

So your statement was false.

"Number 1 ranked defensive schedule this year."

That was not what I was saying. I said the pass defenses that Matt Ryan have faced this year on average were far worse than the pass defenses Rodgers faced this year.

Combine that with the fact that ATL played 8+ more dome games than the Packers and the last four games ATL played was vs teams out of the playoffs while GB faced 5/6 games vs teams fighting for the playoffs to end the season.

In conclusion it is a fact that Ryan has faced weaker pass defenses, a weaker SOS, has a better running game, a WR corps that's much better after the catch at #2 in the NFL in YAC, they played 8+ more dome games, and faced 4 teams in a row that had nothing to play for to end the season while G virtually played an elimination game 5 out of the last 6 games.

11 yards isn't down the field. Look at 25 yards plus and get back to me. If you're right I'll admit it. Even at your 11+ yards the numbers are the dosage because Rodgers threw 76 more times than Ryan. And Atlanta played the top defensive schedule in the NFL still.

I think Carr also has a good case - Raiders look like a steaming loaf without him. Plenty of worthy candidates this year, no doubt.

I'm surprised Brady is even in the discussion.

He led his team to an 11-1 record and his stats, if extrapolated over 16 games are as good or better than anyone's. 28td's and 2 INT's is ridiculous. He's not only in the discussion, he has 12 votes. Mine is not one of them.

I think Brady is the runaway winner if he played 16 games, because you could probably safely assume the results would be the same

I do have a bit of a problem though "projecting" numbers when it comes to MVP voting

Being more efficient with the ball puts less strain on the defense.

This argument is just flat stupid. Take a look at Rodgers performances in those 4 losses and try again.

I know. The Saints have a good offense. We will be playing a bunch of teams who can't score enough to beat us. Lol at slower games. Game is 60 minutes and Atlanta doesn't need the ball long to score. You'll see... if you can get by the Giants or Pack
I see the cockiness has returned for Falcons fans. Amazing what a few weeks will do. Good Luck in playoffs, will need to play better than in the past. But, no unbeatable teams in the NFC so it's a free for all who makes it IMO. Personally I'm glad to have HFA.

That's why I didn't vote him.

Good crop of candidates his year, could be anyone's year but the look on Rodger Goodells face handing Brady the MVP trophy would be priceless.
Not saying TB deserves it missing the 4 but.........................
