Yep...and been a few times they passed off in big spots and go figure it worked.I think your problem is in assuming that because LeBron has always been willing to pass that he was afraid to take the shot.
He has taken the shot plenty, proving that he isn’t afraid.
He has also passed to open shooters, and taken plenty of heat from uneducated people for doing so. Proving that he isn’t afraid to make the best possible basketball play in any situation.
That should be applauded, not criticized. MJ and Kobe actually would have better off passing in those situations more often. Would have forced defenses to respect alternative options more and give them better opportunities to score themselves.
Might have helped those last second percentages there.
