For my short time with Geno. He showed me what true teammate was. Anytime I struggled he’d ask if I wanted him to line up differently or just a simple “keep going”. He made me feel like a had a place in that clubhouse. It was an honor sharing a uniform with him. Thank you Geno

Big difference is politicians in King County illegally approved TMobile park while Oakland and Alameda County, well the state of California demanded Fisher pay for stuff that has nothing to do with baseball. The Mariners didn’t have to pay for basically anything but Fisher was suppose to pay for the entire revivalization of Oakland for business and low income families. Instead of Oakland demanding $500 million from the federal government for these dumb perks they should’ve asked the state of California to waive these measures. Supposedly they were like $100 apart in totally funding their new stadium, take out all of the waste the government imposed and Oakland still has a team.

We're so fucking poor we don't offer Teoscar a qualifying offer which he wouldn't have accepted.

We're so fucking poor we don't even make an attempt at getting Ohtani.

We're so fucking poor we dump Geno for two players who will be DFA'd sooner rather than later.

Unless they have a deal in place to sign Matt Chapman, they might as well just say they're rebuilding. Or better yet just admit they'll never have the payroll to compete.
