Never go full Husky
Definitely going to be huge. It is risky having a guy who doesn’t have enough AB to account for a full season to switch to DH. And on off days you essentially can’t use him as a pinch runner. There have been plenty of cases where surgery ended up just being bandaids which is just the way it seems with it being just his knees. I won’t pretend to be a doctor but a doctor should probably rule him out for at least the first half of 2022 and go from there.Mariners outfielder Kyle Lewis suffers setback in recovery from knee surgery
The Mariners are in wait-and-see mode after Kyle Lewis felt discomfort and soreness in his right knee that has now had three surgical procedures on it.www.seattletimes.com
"In the final stages of his rehabilitation, when the Mariners were scheduling his rehab assignments to get him back on the big-league field for the final weeks of the season, Lewis felt discomfort and soreness in the troublesome right knee that has now had three surgical procedures."
I've probably been one of the more optimistic posters, but I really do worry about Lewis. It would be hard to believe that his right knee won't be a lingering issue throughout his career.
