I love his competiveness but problem is he plays baseball. Football or basketball it makes sense because you aren’t good if you fail 3 out of 10 times. I don’t have cable this year (fuck Root) but I haven’t seen any of his AB’s, is he still arguing every time? I’ve seen on Twitter JRod striking out because of a BS call and he threw his “fit” but he did it not showing up the ump.
I wouldn't say Kelenic is throwing fits, but he shows obvious frustration every AB. He got a hit today which was a high pop up that went 55 feet and nobody caught it.

JRod has laughed all his bad calls off, but is definitely getting the rookie treatment umps used back in the 70's and 80's. To me he is over swinging at everything he swings at. The nice controlled swing from spring is gone. He just needs to relax.

Gonzaga

No. 1 recruit Chet Holmgren finished with a rather historic
stat line on Tuesday during his collegiate debut in the top-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs’ win over Dixie State.

Holmgren produced 14 points, 13 rebounds, seven blocked shots and six assists during the 97-63 victory. He became the first player over the last 25 seasons to register at least 10 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five blocks in a Division I debut, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

He went to work quickly, recording six points and five rebounds in the first 10 minutes as the Bulldogs jumped to a 23-4 lead. Holmgren entered the season highly touted due to his unique blend of size and skill, and the 7-footer had that going in his debut.
