Everyone knew it would pass but still BS. Stanton would never go against the flow...unless the flow was against the fans of Seattle. Not Mariners related but owners approved the A’s move to Vegas. IMO classless move by Stanton to not be a token no. No owner of any Seattle sports franchise should ever vote yes on a relocation.
Sure, but it’s not like the other owners would be upset. They would know it is just virtue signaling to the Seattle fan base. It’s just one more thing that Stanton is going to have to answer for if he ever talks to the public again. He has gotten so much bad PR for a year now, might as well do something that costs nothing to get a least a little good PR especially going into the crapstorm that they are going to get because they aren’t going to spend the money on Ohtani or Bellinger and Snell is going to go Trevor May on them when he signs with the Rangers to spite them.Everyone knew it would pass but still BS. Stanton would never go against the flow...unless the flow was against the fans of Seattle.
There plan isn’t bad but two thingsTake a fly through this. Locked on Mariners roster projection. I hold my thoughts until others have had a chance to watch. And just a heads up, I use the time bar to see the next segment so it speeds up the viewing tremendously.
Walking.on.egg.shells..There plan isn’t bad but two things
1. I hate the idea of signing the Japanese pitcher for $15 million, when $10 extra could get you a bonafide Cy Young pitcher in Snell
2. Getting Brown and Cronenworth doesn’t seem bad, but that causes some serious issues because the lineup would have a lot lefties and as we saw in September they are all in on the LH/RH lineup. Not sure how Rojas could be the infield utility player in that scenario and I really am uncomfortable having Dylan Moore being the outfield utility player.
