I could understand the reps but it’s not like any of the starters play full games. IMO it doesn’t make any sense for Young to be in camp if Emerson isn’t. Don’t want Young taking reps from Bliss and Tucker since those two are first up if something goes wrong with Polanco I guess would be rebuttal.I have heard Blowers speak on that in the past but my memory isn't that good anymore. I know one thing is because of big league reps and there are only so many to go around. I am not sure if MiLB players get paid for minor league camp vs regular camp in spring training. It wouldn't be a lot if that is the issue. "Minor leaguers players will receive four weeks of retroactive spring training pay for this year. They will get $625 weekly for spring training and offseason training camp and $250 weekly for offseason workouts at home."
