Do you know what the stipulations are about non roster invitees. It’s something I’ve always wondered on why they don’t have all of their top prospects in the big league camp? I know there is a minor camp but what does it hurt having some of the younger guys face big league pitching too?
I have heard Blowers speak on that in the past but my memory isn't that good anymore. I know one thing is because of big league reps and there are only so many to go around. I am not sure if MiLB players get paid for minor league camp vs regular camp in spring training. It wouldn't be a lot if that is the issue. "Minor leaguers players will receive four weeks of retroactive spring training pay for this year. They will get $625 weekly for spring training and offseason training camp and $250 weekly for offseason workouts at home."Do you know what the stipulations are about non roster invitees.
