You should. I should. I just can't. But is value isn't worth trading anyways so I expect to be disappointed one more year with I'm. So crazy how the league built him up and he has disappointed yet Texas has that kid who I never paid attention to and is now carrying them in the playoffs. Baseball is weird. Mariners are unlucky.

Unlucky for sure since they have had zero prospects over perform. Everyone loves Julio but no one can honestly say he has been MVP caliber. Which is my big frustration with the pro Jerry crowd. Is that he has a “philosophy” that all “Moneyball” but that philosphy is massively flawed because the two organizations he wants to pretend he has is the Astros and Braves.

The Astros sucked for longer so had way more top picks, they lucked into having Altuve and pulled the trigger on Verlander when in Mariners terms they sold Graveman. A Astros to Mariners comparison is the Astros let their Julio, JP and Castillo walk in 3 straight seasons. With all due respect to the Mariners Julio hasn’t matched what Springer did, JP hasn’t reached what Correa did nor has Castillo reached what Verlander did.

Then with the Braves, the Mariners aren’t even remotely close to hitting on their prospects. Outside of maybe SS, there isn’t a position side by side with the Braves the Mariners wouldn’t trade straight up for and IMO that includes their starting 5 vs the M’s starting 5.

This is why I have zero faith in them signing Snell even though every single thing he has done since the All Star break says he wants to play for them. Sure Boras is a prick to deal with, but a fair offer and I think the Mariners could sign him.
