For fans that think players don't notice or aren't motivated by moves a team makes in the offseason or t the deadline, remember what Cal said and now Sewald.

Seawald seems like a happy guy now. The trade released him from the Mariners contract and now he has a shot at winning something meaningful for once. I'm happy for him.

This is how the Mariners do attract some players, people will be happy to play for any MLB team, even this fake one to get a chance at getting noticed and hopefully traded or signed by a real team someday.

Moving on .

Seawolf was always going to be the closer but added depth in the bullpen is key. It's a missed opportunity.
