Sorry your son has to deal with this. Hopefully he will get better as he gets older. My son is epileptic. More or less uncontrolled although he has had a good run lately.
Nothing to do with concussions in his case.
But the numerous tumbles he has had over the years have no doubt delivered more than a few concussions.
Fell in tub, knocked faucet off wall with back of head.
Fell out of shower, perfect 1 point landing on his chin, pulverizing 3 molars.
Fell in back yard, backwards down rock steps, landing head first on back of head.
Fell off sidewalk onto pavement, banging right ear very hard.
Many more instances. He usually falls limply though so it's a bit like being asleep in the back seat during a car wreck.
No doubt though repeated concussions fuck up the brain so who knows if there is a connection the other way.

TBI can cause seizures. Not sure if it is epileptic seizures but there is a link.
Seems like most are worried if Fields will have a seizure in a big game. In his case that seems archaic.
If he were to get a few concussions, that would not be good. You'd hate to draft a kid who has to retire in his 2nd year or whatever.
Best wishes for your son!
Alen faneca had it, as did somewhere for the pats right??Concussion and Epilepsy: What is the Link? - Practical Neurology

It's a scary thoughtWe used to have a Nintendo and my son would get fucked up by Tetris or Weltris, anything that flashed.
Good in a way since we never had to upgrade past a regular Nintendo... we gave it away.
I don't recall a Pat with epilepsy.Alen faneca had it, as did somewhere for the pats right??
Both the Barber Bros. as well.Alen faneca had it, as did somewhere for the pats right??
Right...those kind definitely do mess with you for a bit. Haven't seen if he had the kind where one falls down (the type most think about when they hear about seizures) or if he has a different type (one term is Petit Mal seizures) where those around you might not even know you had one.Thanks. He is 41 and still has the issues.
If somebody drops with a seizure on the field, it would look really bad to the others on the field, but not likely to harm the player. He wouldn't be calling quick breaking plays for a while though, it fucks up your circuits for an hour or so, you don't usually snap back 100%.
