Is suppose him fumbling away the game is a means to an end.

Two top five picks and a new coach makes for an exciting offseason.

Starting over is probably what they need to do, but I'd have a hard time being excited for the 4th time in 10 years or whatever it is.

Have you guys watched Fields play? He ran the ball 18 times today, does that say his coaches are confident with him throwing the ball? I don't know how many were designed for him to run, but I highly doubt they dropped him back to pass 41 times and he ran 18 of those. Maybe he's not actually a good QB at this point...

yep

I'm sure somehow this is Fields fault though
Dude, he didn't get it done when it counted most, once again. Getsy can eat a dick for the playcalling on that last offensive series, but ultimately, if Fields keeps that RPO on 2nd down, they win the game.

Fields played good enough to win today, yet they still fucking lost. 6-25 in his career in win/loss. His backups are 6-7 over that same span. I want the kid to succeed, but he and the Bears don't know how to win, but are damn sure reinventing ways to lose.

Bears should've blown em' out today. Way too many missed opportunities, Jaylon's would-be 98 yard pick six being the most glaring.

in the last 4 minutes of a game the Bears D gives up nearly 140 yards and we are blaming the loss on Justin Fields lol.

Still went 3 and out, when a 1st down wins it. And then deer in headlighted it on the last play.

Game should've been won a number of times, but in the end it was a loss. He can light up the fantasy board every week, and it won't matter until it translates to wind.

The D had what, 5 takeaways today? 4?" How many points did they score off those takeaways? 3?

I blame Fields a little. If they get all the accolades, they shoulder the blame too.

But ya, Getsy and Eberflus can die in a ditch fire, and I wouldn't lose a wink..

that's been my entire premise

while much of this is tongue in cheek...Fields is NOT a top 10 to 15 qb but he's better than what a lot of teams are trotting out there right now

The Bears problems won't be solved with Caleb Williams with this coaching staff

I can't see how the coaching staff stays, even with all the coach speak out of Halas Hall.

Have I as an OSU fan watched him play is your question lol

I am oddly interested in his play as a result and have watched more film on him than probably any qb other than the Browns.

He's an enigma because only maybe a dozen qbs can consistently make the kind of throw he made on that long td today but then he has so many other flaws.

easily one of the most bizarre qb talents of the last decade.

He has so many traits that you women often see in a QB, and can throw a beautiful ball. The issue is his negative traits always seem to show up when it is most critical. It leaves a pretty stat line and a loss.

It is not all on him, but his negatives are just so destructive at critical times.
