So, do you think that Jimmy's personality played a roll in Pete and John's decision making? it's almost like getting a 2nd russel wilson

Nah, Graham plays with a lot more edge and emotion than RW. I think he was attractive to Schneider & Carroll because of his rare ability and the way he'll bring something to our team that we don't already have and how tough it is to stop.

I think personality played a huge part with Jimmy after that percy harvin disaster, Idk if I would compare it to russell wilson but he seems like a great guy

I think that it boils down to Jimmy Graham being exactly the sort of player the Seahawks have needed for some time. Big target with a huge catching radius who is deadly in the red zone. He will help the running as well, IMO, because he will freeze the backer covering him off the line in the read option.

I like the fact JG made the comment, "Where Russell goes, I'm going to be there with him" (or something along those lines). Too me that shows he wants to be a Seahawk and ready to build chemistry with his new QB.

Love the trade, JG is a unique talent that gives the Seahawks what they need on offense, a big go to receiver. If it doesn't work out the Seahawks can let him go without taking a big cap hit.
Also I felt Unger time as a great center was done. His body just can't take the beating any more. Getting the Saints to include him was brilliant.
Pete talked like they had some NFL players in mind to replace him and failing that their was the draft.

I adore this trade. Graham is excited and on board. Max is shocked and bummed.
Seattle won on this one in a huge way. Sorry about losing Max, but it was good business in doing so.

Interesting. Seems that the Dolphins are really going all out this year.

Don't laugh, but the AFCE has become a very competative division. Buffalo has a solid D, good weapons on O but need a QB to finish out the process. Jets may not be very good on offense, but their D is top 7 in the league and keeps them in games. The Pats are the Pats. It's going to be an interesting race this year in that division.

Pat's have also lost a lot of key players... Going to be very tough for them to win 11 or 12 games this year...

They lost; Derrelle Revis, Vince Wilfork, Brandon Browner, which is going to be very tough for them to replace on defense...

The AFC East definitely looks more interesting than it did a month ago, but until one of those teams goes out there and takes it, it's still New England's division to lose. They own that division and have for over a decade. They've lost quite a few pieces, yes, but as various media outlets have mentioned since they lost those pieces, New England is a team that seems to know when to let their players go. You don't win four championships in 13 years in this era without knowing when to hold on to a guy and when to cut bait.

Yah we'll see with the AFC East. LOT of movement between the Bills/Dolphins and even the Jets are in the mix. That said, I've seen teams routinely throughout the years spend in free agency and bring a bunch of 'big name' players in only to see it flop.

AFCE? I won't buy into the Bills until they get a good QB -- top 12 or so. I firmly believe if you put RW on that team right now, they would be us and we would be them. Jets? No QB and their D isn't as good as Buffalo's. Dolphins made a big splash with the top FA, but they are going to be at a crossroads after this season when they're faced with paying Tannehill enough to keep him while also having Suh getting very close to franchise QB money. This is a wait and see thing to me.

This is so true! NE has great upper management to go along with excellent scouts to find these players that they can plug in and get good production. What NE has done is what i'm seeing the Hawks do. I love the fact that our team has a bright future and we can only hope to have a run like the Pats are having.
