Thats fair. I'm not saying he has no chance at being a very good OC and/or HC, just that as of now he's far from ready.

I think having a second year for the young talent in his scheme, plus the ability to add pieces he wants in the off-season could equal a big jump for this defense

They need to continue using draft resources on defense. There are some good players,but not enough there yet. A fast play making line backer to add to the mix. Jabril Cox being injured was a blow. I think he was on a trajectory to start and then the injury happened. Need anothet linebacker though

don't know how true this is but Spotrac shows us to be over $21M over the cap next year so we are going to have cut several name stars just to get down to it and that doesn't include resigning any of our FA's.
