Niners fans are pissed and rightfully so. Losing here is not the issue either. Anybody can lose in our house but then to really stink up Candlestick that bad shows they didn't get past that loss here. Bad sign for them going on a short week to a really tough Rams team. They have a lot of work to do and we need to keep our foot on the gas all year.

Harbaugh has NOT made the 49ers a better team. He got them to play to their talent level was all but his whining ways on the sideline i think is starting to bother his OWN players. He is losing that sideline.

Oh and Wilson >>>>>> Kaepernick, and its not even close.

That's the thing. He had the playing to their level and there's a lot of talent on that team. Now the chips are down and he needs to show some leadership. It seems like the spotlight has always been on the coach down there for years. BB's obviously great but when you think of the Pats you think Tom Brady. We're getting something going here and PC is high profile but you think of guys like Lynch, RW, Sherman, ... With Harbaugh's ego you really have to wonder if he's going to allow some of the spotlight on his players. Maybe he proves me wrong but I think this is going to be a long season for SF fans. It's a players league and you can't have a coach who's constantly trying to own the spotlight.

Well you are entitled to that view but i disagree,in this time in the NFL if you cannot inspire the team you coach players avoid you or do not play as hard.

2 seasons before Harbaugh: 14-18
2 seasons (and 3 games) since Harbaugh: 25-9 1 Superbowl Appearance

A lot of the key players on the roster currently (Vernon Davis, Joe Staley, Patrick Willis, Justin Smith etc.) were on the roster those years.

There is no doubt Harbaugh took a mediocre underperforming team and brought it to a high level of competition.

I verbally destroyed about half their members on their board, the mods banned me for a week and agreed to remove the ban in exchange for a ban on just the 49ers forum. Fair trade if you ask me, the mods here are super chill. Would like another chance to go at them again though.

I see the turnaround that the 49ers had once Harbaugh came around and have to believe he was the reason for that. Just about every player on that roster plays the best they possibly could.

Yes but a good coach doesn't just get his team to play to their talent level but to play ABOVE it. 13 wins first season right? 11 wins last season correct and now if you go by that trend we are looking at 9 wins for the Whiners this season. PC >>>> JH, Pete Built this team into something special and they have improved every year. Jim was hired to coach a team LOADED with likely the most talent in the NFL and they have regressed.

The only surprise on that list to me is the Niners and maybe the Packers but only mildly surprised. I have never believed in the Falcons, the Skins were RG3 and nothing, and the Vikes were irrelevant. AP can't carry the team every year.

This is also the NFL and change is inevitable. You can't recruit the talent like in college so winning is harder to sustain. We talked about that on the general board and Chip Kelly. Harbaugh should understand that.
