I think Kaep is a very talented QB, just has mental and accuracy issues. Wanted to rip my hair out from all those 49ers fans talking about how intellectually gifted Kaepernick is. If Colin Kaepernick is your idea of intelligent then chances are that's more of a reflection on you than him. IMO he is a bit raw but I think he has a bright future.

When you see a QB rocket the ball it means to me he has no fade and must use that speed of the ball to compensate lack of hitting the WR in the correct window.

I wonder if all this hype is just too much. These young guys have to go through some bumps and need time to develop all the skills. QB play is a lot more than just a good arm and legs. The stuff between the ears is vital and I think Russell is ahead of Kaep in that regard. Just watching Russell when he breaks the pocket. Much like Aaron Rodgers, he is still going through his progressions downfield.

He is athletic but i just dont see a top QB in him maybe a just above average imo.

10 points scored For San Fran the past 6 Quarters ( game and a half ) after putting up 34 on a GB team that is no where as good as the "49er" fans had hoped. Seattle showed everyone the blue print to beat the 49ers ( Twice in a row )now lets see if other teams have the personal to pull it off.

I didn't think I would say this but our defense looks even better than it was last year.

Bennett and Avril were both big additions.

Nothing wrong with above average IMO. I think that is where he will fall, with potential to be better if he learns to go through his progressions.

Great play by Sidney Rice. Exactly why I don't understand why those deep balls are not going to him. His separation has been mediocre at times but he still has the ability to make plays like that.

I did not expect a regression, but I did not expect this much of an improvement. I mean it is not easy to improve what was arguably the NFL's best defense.

I'm looking forward to seeing this defense on the road against a stronger offensive opponent than the Panthers. I'm curious if they have finally taken the next step and will carry this strong play on the road with them.
