News flash for everyone on PS Vue...it is shutting down on January 30.


Looks like I'll move over to youtube TV, going to do that sooner rather than later.

Have you checked any others out? I use it just for sports. I just havent researched others yet.

You tube has some really interesting ways to unlock a fire stick to get a lot of sports. Sometimes the channel cuts out or is buffering but it’s been pretty good for me watching the Rams and has a lot of other channels for college football

Yttv has every sports channel that ps Vue except nfl network and some obscure ESPN channel not one ever used for CFB

Hallmark is the biggest remaining one. And with it now being close to chirstmas, no way I'm cutting off her most watched channel outside of Bravo.

I tried Sling a long time ago and didn't like it. I've been reading reviews and doing some comparisons today. I think I'll give youtube a test run in their trial period. I'd like to avoid directv/att if at all possible.

Hmm, no NFL network? That could suck for thursday nights. I was hoping to get a company that had comedy central again after not having it for a while on Vue. Don't want to get a second subscription for just that though.

Philo has Viacom it's what we did to supplement channels for 16 a month on top of yttv

So i have had Philo which fills in all the gaps for like 15-16 i forget, but did a quick google and

Frndly TV: A cheap way to get Hallmark Channel, Weather Channel and more without cable apparently for 6 bucks a month you can get some of these channels? i havent fully looked into it yet

but I may be able to get around it using my in-law's Comcast login to sign into the Hallmark app on roku. Then we can watch live, just not record. I need to see if that is an option.

It’s been almost 4 years since I’ve had cable TV now. Today had an antenna guy put this in my attic so I upgraded my antenna basically. Get 83 channels most importantly all major networks in HD and should have no issues for football season coming up. Along with streaming I’ll have more channels and football that I care to watch.

Most importantly I don’t have to call the cable company hardly at all. That’s worth 1 beeelion dollars in my book.

Onward and upward!! Fuck the cable companies!

Haven't gotten to the point of getting a antenna guy yet, but did up grade to a amplified antenna. Just hooked it up, so going to need some time to see how it does. Thus far the picture seems way better and more channels. Nothing close to what your getting. Next step is to go to a outdoor antenna, for that I will pay someone to install. Hoping that not necessary, but will do that if that what it takes.
Have all the shows and movies I need TBH, only thing is watching NFL football is a bit lacking compared to cable. Get the red zone with sling and can watch Thursday night football with Prime, Sunday night and Monday night on my tablet using yahoo. Also get some NFL football on CBS all access. Watch the Seahawks OTA thus the upgrade of the antenna. going to keep refining to get the best mix and fuck the cable company. Onward and upward!

We need to find a replavcement for PSView. Sounds like Youtube TV is the way to go. Just one more thing to ensurethat Google owns our entire lives.

Cable companies just raising the price of internet and lowering the price of tv content. You are not saving money with services like Youtube or Apple. You re not getting any more content either. IPTV is the only way to get more content for less these days.

As far as sports go, there are websites everywhere that broadcast every sport and mostly in 720+. Dont need to pay for that.
