Likely got bad advice from an agent or family member thinking about themselves. He really wanted to retire a Bronco. End of the day, financially he has plenty.

He had his chance and choose to bet on himself and lost. Several players thought they were going to be paid, but it didn't happen. Shelby, Griffin, and Clowney all have to be disappointed.

Right. But Dennard is much more effective in the slot then the outside. I think part of the reason why the deal fell through is because the Jags have a decent slot guy in DJ Hayden. They can probably find another outside cover guy with Hayden still manning the slot. Dennard is best covering the slot.
