All eyes are on Munchak. I only have faith in our two G positions. Why did we make James the highest paid RT (at the time)? Can he come back after being called out by the head coach? I still would like to sign a guy like Peters to a team friendly deal. Yea he’s old, he’s still solid, and more importantly better than what we’ve got. I think this team can make noise this year, but we have to protect Drew

Just saw this:

With mostly 1-yr offers from market, Shelby Harris let Broncos know he'd like to return, per sources. He played at $3.1M last yr so if reports true he'd be taking pay cut, even after 6.0 sks and DL-most 9 PDs. Wouldn't be surprised if deal, but for now no agreement. #9sports

Shelby Harris switched agents for second time recently after his market wasn't as hoped per source. He has been talking to Broncos about coming back. There are reports Harris has one-year deal and that may happen but Broncos at this moment say there is no agreement. #9sports

I am a little surprised that Shelby is the guy we sign. I wonder if that will close the door on Wolfe returning?

Happy to have Shelby back even if it is for only 1 year.

I'm surprised to see Shelby Harris resigned - but it is very hard to replace a Dlineman who deflected 9 passes. Glad to have him back.

Sorry, fake news. Elway said were done with free agency.

That said, great non-signing.

Why not sign him? After last season the talking heads were saying the Broncos couldn't afford to resign him, but this contract is at a base less than last year for Harris - he has to earn incentives to make more money than last year.

I honestly feel like Denver has had on of the best off-seasons in the NFL thus far.

Definitely fixing up on a wide receiver in the draft. Plenty of good ones. Our two starting running back’s make more money than our entire wide receiver corps right now.

Hard to argue. The two trades they made are for high quality locker room guys that have a couple of years left on their deals paying them honestly what they deserve compared to their pay. Glasgow was the top IOL player on the market and they signed him to a deal again about where he is slotted talent wise.

They haven't really overpaid (other than Gordon which I know you will disagree with me on) and have really filled out this roster well. Center and WR are the only two positions where I would say there is a glaring hole left heading into the draft. Center you could argue the Broncos could start Glagow there and have Wilkinson play guard leaving it not as big of a need but I still think they will look for someone.

So the draft really comes down to finding players that fit the roster and can develop for a year while playing some snaps to develop. That 2nd round pick is going to be a fun one to see which direction they go. Jeremy Chinn has been catching a lot of attention lately to fill the Will Parks role. But in reality they could go so many directions that would make a ton of sense. Only positions right now that wouldn't would be TE, RB, and QB.

You should hear what Melvin Gordon calls you! Naw jk he is much more classy than that.

Free agency wise I think we took a smart approach not so much a “relaxed” approach.

We were active and made smart decisions that fit what we need.
