You wouldn’t have responded at all if it weren’t for the part about the Timberwolves and you damn well know it.

Maybe, maybe not.

But if I had it would have been about the content and not to make fun of your unnecessary off topic rant.

And nice comeback 2 weeks later.

Personally, I think too much is being made of it.

It was 1 game and it only brought them to 2-2 since they got Luka.

It was great that it happened vs. the Nugs considering that they've owned the Lakers over the past 3 or so years. It was also great that they found a way to neutralize Joker (held him to 7 shots for the game). He still got 13 boards and 10 assists though.

But I'm seeing folks on talks shows saying they're contenders now on equal footing to OKC, Boston and the Cavs.

If they're able to sustain the way they played last night...then maybe they can be included in that convo...

But until they do that...this was nothing more than a much needed win against a team that they have struggled with.

According to @HurricaneDij39

The lack of bench scoring is why he wants to fire Malone.

Which is crazy. That is not a reason to fire a coach.

cane gots a screw loose. If he really followed the Nuggets, which I gotta question, he should know that Malone wasn't too happy with the moves the GM Calvin Booth has made since winning it all.

The lack of bench scoring is Booth's fault not Malone's.

To be fair - I think it's next to impossible to keep the exact same team together in the next year and following year after winning a championship. I think just one guy everyone hated so much - that bothered the Lakers so much - by himself was enough to cause them to lose.

All in the world that kept the Lakers from losing was Robert Horry's shot against Sacramento in 2002 - That's what makes it impressive to win three in a row. Denver is a good team - but the are roasted weenies this year. I find roasted hot dogs to be delicious and so will the Lakers if they meet Denver in the playoffs

Hey - I think Oklahoma looks better and to be a bigger threat - But you never know -

They do.

But talking smack after 1 win against a team that has completely owned you in both the regular season and playoffs for about the past 3 years is like doing a touchdown dance when you scored the touchdown that took it from 63-3 to 63-10.

It was mentioned earlier in the season on sports talk radio. I agree it's next to impossible keeping everyone following a title. But from what I remember the GM got rid of some players Malone wanted to keep.

They are the Denver Nuggets - The Thuggets and Jazz are two teams that the Lakers faced many times over the last two decades - I don't remember talking smack - but from the one game - The Lakers did look like the better team - The Lakers might have a bigger problem with the Clippers if they face each other - For some strange reason - the Lakers always struggle with them.

Hard to resist saying something though since I wasn't the one who brought it up - and I believe that my comment was limited to that one game
