Sorry I'm behind the times. Saw the Antonio Brown comment earlier. Honestly tough decision. If he can prove to me he has gotten the mental health help that he needs and is here to help the team then I can maybe get on board depending on the contract. This offense in the passing game is based off getting open in 1-on-1 battles and he is the best here is in the game at doing just that.

I would wait until after the draft though so we miss out on some of the top prospects at WR.

You're a sucker for redemption @cdumler7 - as I seem to be as well.

Haha can't help myself. Want to hope for the best in every person. I honestly think if Antonio Brown let my wife work on his head we could see a huge change in the guy. She has been helping me with a traumatic brain injury and man it has made a world of difference.

And if he can get his head right then the football play should be the easy part for him. He has always been a bit of a diva but never as bad as the last year.

I love redemption. Most players I work with indoor are looking for redemption. But surely not Brown. He has had chances and didn't give 2 craps because he is Antonio Brown and the NFL owes him something.

Pass on this guy and never look back! Sorry, I don't know how anyone can give this guy a chance after his previous behavior. This wasn't a one or two time thing. This guy has something wrong with him and he isn't afraid to blast the franchise he is with on social media.

You don't touch this guy!

One big thing to note on the Glasgow signing.

Besides lack of sacks he has given up... We paid a lot of money for him but....

He is also very durable. Something HUGE when it comes to OL, and something we just frankly haven't had in past free agent signings (Watson, Leary, James)

I guess it was WR signing day. I would have like to signed a vet WR, but I am thinking we have moved on to draft preparation.

Here's something you can bank on. If the league sucks up a lot of WR talent in the draft early rounds - it will next be cutting loose existing WRs for salary cap reasons to make room for them. The secondary free agent market often has great values - and guys who are motivated to prove they can still play at a high level. Remember, also the last $10 million of salary cap space from Flacco's flushing - will not be available for the Broncos to use until after 6/1.

From what I understand they decided to not have it be a Post June-1st cut. So instead of the $10 million in dead money next year it is all on this year. I could be wrong on that but seems like I read that somewhere.

Not sure flacco was a post June cut.
I think this savings was applied now.

as of today we have $21M minus the new G and P

Over the cap has his dead money all in 2020.
Still trying to find Scotland’s first year salary.

Without even making any strong moves to ILBer , what about a small trade back and draft Murray on the first. Checks all the boxes. Can’t have AJ the only backer blitzing next year.
Prbly will come in and have the green dot.

grab a WR in round 2 .

Patrick Queen would be higher on my list for the off-ball linebacker spot but I do like your thinking here. My big issue though with this is I have a lot of off-ball guys I like in the middle of this draft. So wouldn't mind them waiting until the 3rd round to address the position.

Even more reason to trade back if one if selected the other will probably be there.
Queen to me seems more of a development player with huge upside.

He is but right now that is why I have him higher. We don't need him to start right now. He can come in on certain situations this year while learning the position then explode onto the scene next year.

Spread the draft out over 5-6 nights. Round 1-5 each night and 6-7 one night. Would allow for more TV coverage and the team have more time to review players available.

Good idea.
I like the second part - allows teams, who haven’t had the usual opportunity to interview players and have on campus workouts, to regroup each day before the next round.

Was Adam Shefter's idea

No way on the draft part. I’d have to feel obligated to use a week of vacation. ;)
