Well, if a 4 month investigation into why some footballs where short less than 1PSI of pressure.....even though the head ref admitted (but was subsequently coerced into changing his testimony) that the pre-game measurement process was flawed at best is what you consider cheating then I have to reconsider your knowledge of this game we call "Football".

This is much ado about nuthin.................except for the fans of the tams who have been getting their asses handed to them by New England for most of the last 15 years .

OK, so I have to ask...

Brady hands over his phone to Roger and only Roger. They sign a contract that anything other than football related cannot be released to the public, if so, they can sue, whatever. Now what if there is nothing in Brady's phone, Nothing at all....So what happens?

-Is he going to come out and say there was nothing on his phone, he was telling the truth the whole time, no suspension? OK, then we are back to the haters stating that Roger is protecting the Patriots and there was a deal behind doors.
-Does he state that the Wells report was wrong making the NFL look foolish?

For the umpteenth time (and not the last) this was much less about air pressure and much more about blatant, intentional violation of the rules. Whether an advantage was gained is irrelevant. Follow that with marginal cooperation and we are where we are. The Patriots didn't fight because it wasn't in their best interest. No idea who would have prevailed but no one would have "won".

The Pats don't have a case.

I'm not a lawyer but the one who won many of those cases mentioned is on Brady's defense team.

I'm hoping for the best.

I understand that legally they were appealed. What I am talking about is actual what happened. For Ray Rice he has yet to find a job in the NFL since the incident. So while yes he is technically available to sign anywhere he has been blacklisted. Adrian Peterson while yes approved to come back the team continued to have him off the team this past year. Now to me with Peterson the league was able to suspend him essentially for a year. This satisfies the masses that he was severely punished for what he did. Now that a judge has ordered him back they get back one of their best moneymaking players in the entire league. So really this whole thing is a win win for the NFL in the sense that they satisfied everybody and can say they are tied by the courts ruling in this situation to have him back in the NFL.

If Brady beat his kid or wife, I wouldn't root for him and hope he is off team
