Apparently Thomas tweeted out that a lot of things are running through his head including retirement... Yikes!

including retirement!? Damn.... if that happens we need a new FS ASAP. Thomas is such a huge part of how our defense runs the cover 3.

I

Yep, this sucks...

Yep... that's pretty much the season I feel, for Thomas. Not sure what bone broke but the fact he couldn't put any weight on it... those things are usually 8 weeks if I'm not mistaken? IF Seattle got to NFC Championship or Super Bowl he'd be so out of shape and football speed, it wouldn't even help to put him back in.

Dang... least Kam is healthy (knock on wood)

Oh God, cracked tibia... he'll be lucky if he's back at the start of next season's camp assuming he doesn't retire.

Interviewed a neighbor who was skiing and got one of these. It took her a LONG while to get back to 100%. Granted she wasn't a world class athlete and prob. not receiving the best treatment money can buy, but she didn't get on the slopes until over a year later.

His salary is $8.5M for each of the next 2 years. Agreed, I find it hard to believe he'd give that up.

Especially since it was a leg injury. Not like a concussion or whatever. Tibia fracture/break is no joke though.

I don't think so. He just realized his zone was worthless to stay put and dropped deep to give Kam support. Something a good zone cornerback understands (when to leave your zone). It's why Nnamdi busted huge in Philly. He never understood how to play zone, lots of talent on man... but diff. story.

I hope not retiring. I would not want to spend our 1st round pick on something other then a T to replace Poowell
