The Bulls are sending Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2017 2nd-round pick for Robin Lopez, Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon, per source.

Knicks are really banking on 2011 Rose 6 years later....Wow
Bad trade
Yea, it was a terrible move...Rose is complete garbage, i bet the bulls are happy tho lol
Bulls just fleeced the Knicks. Rose will never be a star player again.

True but they gave up nothing. Grant was terrible although still young, Calderon couldn't guard me and Lopez is decent but hardly irreplaceable.
I actually like this. Rose and Melo will get hurt, they'll win 15 games, Porzigus will have a year to fill out and they have their #1 pick after next season. They should have kept Rambis which would have ensured a 70 loss season
.....and they shed Lopez's remaining 3 years.Don't know why people are banging on the Knicks. They really didn't give up much in this trade. Add a center (i.e. Noah, Gasol, Howard, Horford) to go with Rose, Melo, and Kristaps. The Knicks will win plenty of games next season.
I like it if they use their cap space wisely.
Unless they got Conley, I'd pass on paying big money to any of the free agent point guards, for various reasons.
Rondo- headache
Rivers- not good enough
Jennings- shoots to much, not worth big money.
Delly-
They might not land a top pg next Summer. But, with Paul, Curry, Westbrook, Holiday all ufa's....
Rose is not a bad stop gap on a 1 year flyer.

Knicks expecting 2011 Rose and they're going to get 2016 Rose instead
