If Rose can stay healthy it's good. If he can't they'll end up in the lottery so it's good. He's only got the one year.

Calderon was painful to watch. Nice enough guy but he makes Curry look like a defensive genius

But, getting his deal off the books could be a blessing next Summer when the cap goes up another 30 million.

Curry, Paul, Westbrook, Holiday, Blake Griffin, Redick, Ibaka, Z Bo.....all unrestricted free agents.

Second, they are not depending on Rose to be 2011 Rose. It's not like he is stuck with them. If he ball out next year, you resign him, if he isn't what you want, then you let him walk. The good thing is, they got rid of Lopez's contract.

This is a good first step for Phil this summer.
