RosterResources is really good. I a man not certain they are 100% accurate, but they are a really good source.

For the roster, I use this site...

Current Roster
I don't know, that source is sketchy. I heard the guy running it relies, a lot, on others to update his information. Not so sure those sources can be trusted, especially if they pull from ESPN.

I like Lonnie as well, but not that much!

I'd prefer them to stay away from pretty much everyone on that list outside of the top 3. Maybe I could be swayed by Smoak, but what do you do with Belt? Plus the defensive drop off would be huge. I like Marwin Gonzalez more as well, but only because he's versatile.

I put Chisenhall that high considering his age and his offensive production the past three seasons. He's been a bit more consistent than the others (outside the top 2). I did not take into account the defensive parts of their games. The reason I focused on offense is due to the fact that is what the Giants need. Gonzalez' bat isn't that great. I think Hanson could fill that role a lot cheaper than Gonzalez.

I guess it depends on the price for Marwin. If he's pretty cheap, I'd take a shot on him. That's why I like Lonnie as well, though. He should be very cheap and as some high payoff.

If Lonnie is cheap, then he is well worth the look. I still think Gonzalez would not be an upgrade. Remember, he's put up his numbers with Houston as his home park. I cannot see him doing better than Hanson.

Wouldn't hurt to have both Hanson and Marwin

Grandal would bring a good bat but how does he fit on the team? Shift Posey to 1st? Move Belt to the outfield? Trade Belt?
LeMahieu would probably be an upgrade over Panik, but I haven't looked at his Coors/road splits. Do you non-tender Panik? His value as a utility player is really limited.

Why carry a 13th pitcher when you have Sandoval? :D

I would only want him on a 1 or 2 year deal, so he probably wouldn’t sign here, anyway. But yes, I would imagine moving Posey to 1st, at least for 50% of the time. Belt would be a 1B/LF or traded. Hundley would be allowed to walk.

I have always liked LeMaheiu. The year Panik won the GG, I thought LeMahieu deserved it. That dude is a beast. I have not torn apart his numbers, though. I don’t know how the Doors effect hits him.

LeMahieu's home/road split in 2018 - .324/.368/.453 at Coors, .229/.280/.445 on the road.
His home/road split average for 15-17 - .346/.416/.473 at Coors, .293/.347/.385 on the road.
At AT&T - 2018 .217/.269/.391, 15/17 .368/.427/.414

I'm torn on this one. His 2018 season suggests that he may not be a good pick up, offensively, but his 15/17 are more solid on the road and at AT&T. Not sure about this one. But I will say, it will be hard to move on from Panik, despite how frustrated I've been with him this year.

I think I prefer staying out with Panik as well, but I don’t talk to him or watch him workout/prep every day. I get the sense the org is ready to move on. Unfortunately, it is a year or so too late.

With both Belt and Panik, their trade value is down at all time lows. I do expect Belt to bounce back but Panik's hitting has been trending south for a couple seasons now.
