I'm thinking things fall into place, we make a small move at the deadline and win 90.
This has been discussed, 84 is roughly the midpoint of where it could go. More things go right, they can win 90. More things go wrong, they win 78. We don't know which until it happens, but we can hope for the best!

Like...we have a case to be made we can be a playoff team, at least that's something vs a team with no shot
+1. I just like that our team at least tries. I’m not saying this ownership group is perfect or even spends enough to break even. But I’d hate to be the Pirates, A’s or Mariners, etc. we don’t spend like the Dogs unfortunately, but at least we spend enough to stay competitive and keep franchise faves around. It could be a lot worse

Sounds like Snell has said some interesting things regarding the Giants interest in him after the season. I’m at work right now I need to find the article. It says something though.

There's an SI article just posted... the gist of it,

“The Giants didn’t even talk to me. It was surprising—I thought they really liked me," Snell said, via Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.
