16 seconds... plenty of time to pickup 10 yards and spike, that was a fine playcall because he was likely to be wide open over the middle, and was... DK was very smart to get down fast. Very heads up play by him and that allowed the field goal. Had he tried to fight for yards or started jawing that'd be a different matter.

I disagree; that was about 50/50 for them not getting a play off without either a false start or just the clock running out. If the hand from DK to the OL to spot the ball is fumbled, the half is over. Completely unnecessary risk that had no chance of turning into a TD

If he doesn't know where his receivers are to fire it into their feet, that's two big misses in about 3 seconds for him (1st being not shifting protection)

In that situation, I was ok with him not panicking and just throwing it to a spot... He could've thrown it Charbs way but he wasn't looking that way... No time to react... Just take the sack their imo...

Still down almost 6 minutes of TOP but at least we get the ball in the 2nd half... so not horrible, and we got the lead, that should give the D something to fight for.

Problems are definitely Henry and the D wrapping up some of those potential sacks on Brisket. And gotta clean up some of the flags. Got sloppy towards the end there with Witherspoon and then the personal foul... the OPI call against Metcalf was ridiculous.

Its Metcalf he gets that called on him a couple times a year. They need to have bobo out there for blocking on those plays! He is the best blocking WR in the league ( lol )

Why are we not seeing Kenny McIntosh?

Defense needs to step it up just a little more. Pats scored on 3 straight drives so lets not let them score again this game. Need to do a little better on 3rd downs ( Pats are 4-9 ) They are not awful but could do better on stopping them.

Geno hasn't been bad but he has got a little lucky that he doesn't have another INT. He also has 169 yards which is 2 short of his season high :P

Well it was getting Myers closer. It was a 44 yard kick... a 54 yard kick is obviously a lower percent. You expect kickers to make a 44 yard field goal, not a 54...

I have every bit as much faith in Myers from 54 as 44.... he can easily make both, and is also capable of missing both.

I think you guys have a wildly unrealistic expectation for Geno.

It's not unrealistic to expect a QB to realize the safe spot to get rid of the ball when he's under pressure immediately; QBs do it all of the time. Once tge play has developed, it gets tougher.

Pretty evenly matched teams. Not sure if the Dawgs just had a bad concentration day, or if they're actually undisciplined as they played to get themselves so many penalties, and so many in key spots. Just hope we're good enough to make a bowl so there's not some huge spiral down for the program.

Cannon arm (last weeks throw was fuckin' insane) but no accuracy/touch (he has the Michael Vick fire it at 250 MPH on a 10 yard throw thing) and he's been injured almost every game.
